'fhank you lbr taking the opportunitv to visit rvith me to discuss the Scouting program. The
Southrvest Florida Council is most appreciative ofthe Collier County SheriffOlfice's support over
the years in many regards from sponsoring a law enforcement post, financial support, assistance with
numerous Scouting activities to just being a positive advocate tbr Scouting in the community.
We are most grateful for the financial support you are able to provide and are most appreciative of
tour consideration again in20l8. We, like many organizations. are operating under financial
constrainis so please know your support is making a great impact in Collier Co. for Scouting. Again,
funds in 201 5 were used to fund program operalions including special assistance to al-risk youth.
Last year this included camperships for Scouts in our Immokalee troop to atlend summer camp.
We received $5,000 in 201 7 and would hope to merit your consideration for this amount in 201 8.
Thanks for all you and your organization do to make our communities a safer place to live. I look
forward to hearing from you in the near future regarding our request. I can be reached on my rnobile
phone at 239-207-5366 or by email at Ja_!fg!G@Scoutine.org should you have any further questions.
