EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve a Utility Facilities Quit Claim Deed and Bill of Sale to JMD
Developments and Investments, LLC to facilitate the legal removal of existing Collier County
Water-Sewer District water lines to enable the redevelopment of privately owned lands.
OBJECTIVE: To convey existing Collier County Water-Sewer District water lines.
CONSIDERATIONS: On December 12, 2017, Agenda Item 17I, the Board approved Resolution No.
2017-245 to vacate the Grant of Utility Easement recorded in O.R. Book 1148, Page 230.
The Quit Claim Deed and Bill of Sale will convey the existing water lines contained in the
aforementioned Grant of Utility Easement to the current property owner to facilitate the legal removal of
the lines to allow redevelopment of the property. During redevelopment, new water lines will be installed
by the developer and conveyed to Collier County.
The Quit Claim Deed and Bill of Sale has been reviewed and approved by the County Attorney’s Office.
FISCAL IMPACT: The cost to record the Quit Claim Deed and Bill of Sale in the amount of $27.00
will be paid by JMD Developments and Investments, LLC.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is approved for form and legality, and requires a majority
vote for Board action. - JAB
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no impact to the current Growth Management Plan.
RECOMMENDATION: To approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the Quit Claim Deed and
Bill of Sale and direct the County Manager or his designee to follow all appropriate procedures, and to
record the Quit Claim Deed and Bill of Sale in the Public records of Collier County, Florida.

WITNESSETH:
That said Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) and other good and
valuable consideration to said Grantor in hand paid by said Grantee, the receipt whercof is hereby
acknowledged, hereby quit claims, remises and rcleases to th€ said Grantee, and Crantee's heirs,
successors and assigns forever, all the water lines prcviously conveyed to Grantor by Deed recorded in
OR I l4t Page 224, and contained within the following described land:
SEE EXHIBIT 'A" attached hercto and made a pad hereoi
and said Grantor does hercby remise, release, and quitclaim to the said Grantee, and Grantee's heirs
assigns forcver, all the right, title, interest, claim and demand which grantor has in and to the said water
lines, be they realty, personalty, or mixed.
This instrument has bcen executed at the request of Grantee, for the sole purpose of Grantee being able to
legally remove said water lines from the land descriH in Exhibit A.

County Commissioners acting by the Chairman or Vice of said Board, the day and year first above
