EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve Petition VAC- PL20120000348, to disclaim, renounce and vacate the
County and the Public interest in an unopened and unused portion of Production Boulevard (60-
foot wide Public Road right -of -way) located just north of Exchange Avenue and the dead end
portion of Exchange Avenue (60 -foot wide Public Road right -of -way) located just east of Production
Boulevard as originally recorded in the Plat of Collier County Production Park, Phase 1 -B, Plat
Book 15, page 8, Public Records of Collier County, Florida, situated in Section 36, Township 49
South, Range 25 East, Collier County Florida being more specifically shown in Exhibit "A ".
OBJECTIVE: To adopt a Resolution to vacate the County and the Public interest in an unopened and
unused portion of Production Boulevard (60 -foot wide Public Road right -of -way) located just north of
Exchange Avenue and the dead end portion of Exchange Avenue (60 -foot wide Public Road right -of -way)
located just east of Production Boulevard as originally recorded in the Plat of Collier County Production
Park, Phase 1 -B, Plat Book 15, page 8, Public Records of Collier County, Florida, situated in Section 36,
Township 49 South, Range 25 East, Collier County Florida being more specifically shown in Exhibit "A ".
CONSIDERATIONS: Petition VAC- PL20120000348 has been received by the Engineering Services,
Growth Management Division, Planning and Regulation from Tom Flood, Vice President of CCPP, Inc.,
Managing Partner of Radio Road Joint Venture. This vacation request is intended to vacate an unopened
and unused portion of Production Boulevard (60 -foot wide Public Road right -of -way) located just north
of Exchange Avenue and the dead end portion of Exchange Avenue (60 -foot wide Public Road right -of-
way) located just east of Production Boulevard that is not being used at this time and not intended to be
used in the future.
Letters of no objection from abutting property owners have been received from all who responded.
Certified mail receipts exist for those who elected not to respond.
FISCAL IMPACT: Growth Management Division, Planning and Regulation staff has collected a $2,000
"Petition to Vacate" fee from the petitioner which covers the County's cost of recording and processing
the Petition.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this
Executive Summary.
ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES: There are no outstanding environmental issues.
HISTORICAL /ARCHAEOLOGICAL IMPACT: There are no historical or archaeological impacts.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: The County Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved this item for
legal sufficiency. This item is ready for Board consideration and approval. A majority vote is required for

WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 336.09 and 336.10, Florida Statutes, Petitioner,
Tom Flood, Vice President of CCPP, Inc., Managing Partner of Radio Road Joint
Venture. This vacation request is intended to vacate an unopened and unused portion of
Production Boulevard (60 -foot wide Public Road right -of -way) located just north of
Exchange Avenue and the dead end portion of Exchange Avenue (60 -foot wide Public
Road right -of -way) located just east of Production Boulevard that is not being used at this
time and not intended to be used in the future.
WHEREAS, the Board has this day held a public hearing to consider petitioner's
request, and notice of said public hearing was given as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the granting of the Petitioner's request will not adversely affect the
ownership or right of convenient access of the property owners; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the County and Public
interest in all or part of an unopened and unused portion of Production Boulevard (60-
foot wide Public Road right -of -way) located just north of Exchange Avenue and the dead
end portion of Exchange Avenue (60 -foot wide Public Road right -of -way) located just
east of Production Boulevard as specifically depicted in Exhibit `A' is hereby vacated,
extinguished, renounced and disclaimed, and this action is declared to be in the Public
interest and for the Public benefit.
