aspects and also the application of the Road Impact Pee Ordinance to
the operation.
Mr. Archibald stated that Staft requires resurfacing a portlon ot
CR-a41 and the turn-lane complex on CR-846, which has already been
coapletedi a .ecurIty bond to cover the excavation activity and the
1ap&Ct. to the adjacent roadways trom a mr.intenance standpoint. He
sa1d the total aaount would bc J~O,ooo per permit for three appllca-
t1ons. Øe noted that it 311 thrf~ permits were underway at the same

Hr. DJck Braun, Golden Gate Taxpayers Association President,
stated bia objections to this excavation because ot possible negative
iapac~s on the roads in Golden Gate.
Responding ~o Co..i.sioner P1.tor, Mr. Archibald stated that the
aajor roads to be used to haul t~e till will be CR-848 and CR-846. He
a.J4 the.. roads are currently ir. a condition to handle that load and
if it bec08es a problea, it can be controlled. He noted that the
Exc.~tion Ordinance will rely o~ the Road Impact Ordinance to insure
~hat the Japact. are addressed t~ some degree. In answer to
Co.al.sloner Saunders, Mr. Archi:ald advised that the fee is computed
on lane iapact aile. in accordan:e with Ordinance 85-55. He stated
that the County ls receiving aaxlmum benetit allowed under the current

Ordiaance could be written requiring the County or the Sheriff'.
