EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Recommendation to approve additions, deletions, and reclassifications to the 2014 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan made from April 1, 2014 through June 30, 2014. OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners to ratify four additions, two reclassifications, one classification specification title change, and the reinstatement of a classification specification to the 2014 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan. CONSIDERATIONS: Pursuant to Ordinance No. 13 -40, the Board of County Commissioners has authorized the County Manager to make additions, modifications and deletions to the 2014 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan, subject to retroactive ratification by the Board. This occurs three times during the fiscal year — in January, in April and in July. The modifications to the County's 2014 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan made between April 1, 2014 through June 30, 2014 (Exhibit 1) consists of four additions, two reclassification, a classification specification title change and the reinstatement of an obsolete classification due to business needs in the Growth Management Division. FISCAL IMPACT: This action will have no fiscal impact to the County. LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been approved as to fonn and legality and requires majority vote for approval. — CMG GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this Executive Summary. RECOMMENDATION: That the Board approves and ratifies the additions, reclassifications, changes, and reinstatement of classification specifications in the 2014 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan as per the attached Exhibit 1.
