EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to review the proposed zoning map changes and support documentations, and
direct the Chair to sign the offical zoning maps.
OBJECTIVE: To provide the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) the backup
documentation in support of the zoning map changes requested from the Growth Management
Division (GMD).
CONSIDERATIONS: On December 16, 2013, in a memo from the GMD Administrator to the
BCC, a list of thirty -nine zoning atlas map updates were requested for signature (Exhibit "A ").
These zoning map updates relate to approvals of the BCC, the Hearing Examiner's Office and
staff identified corrections. The purpose of the Executive Summary is to provide the backup
information explaining the authorization of each request. The zoning map requests have been
categorized within four distinct groups: Hearing Examiner Approvals (Exhibit "B "); BCC
Approved Plats (Exhibit "C "); Sunsetted PUDs (Exhibit "D ") and Staff Identified Corrections
(Exhibit "E ").
The following list the type of support documents that have been provided within each grouping:
Hearing Examiner Approvals grouping, the individual Hearing Examiner Decision provided.
BCC Approved Plats grouping, a copy of the agenda page for the meeting each of the plats were
approved. It should be noted that no Resolution is associated with approved plats.
Sunsetted PUDs grouping, two of the five are supported by an approved Resolution, the other
three are -identified by staff correspondence.
