Collier County Community Assessment:
Idea of a community needs assessment was initially considered in 2013 by CFCC.
RMSFF decided to fund an independent study of both NEEDS & ASSETS
in October 2016.
Advisory Committee was formed and began meeting in November 2016.
Consultant was hired in March 2017 and moved forward with planning stages.
Advisory Committee was effective in establishing domains and survey questions.
Survey was introduced to community in August 2017 and was put on a 1 month
hiatus in mid-September 2017 due to Hurricane Irma.
Survey collection was completed by mid December and draft report for publication
was presented in February 2018.
