MINUTES OF THE OF THE COLLIER COUNTY EMERGENCY MEDICAL
AUTHORITY MEETING
Naples, Florida, August 9, 2017
LET IT BE REMEMBERED, the Emergency Medical Authority in and for the County of
Collier,
having conducted business herein, met on this date at 9:30 A.M. in REGULAR SESSION
at Collier County Government, 3299 Tamiami Trail East, 5' Floor, Naples, Florida with
the following members present:
Chair: Gary McNally, Citizen Representative
Vice Chair: Edwin Fryer, Citizen Representative
Janet Vasey, Citizen Representative
Ronald Myers, Citizen Representative (Excused)
ALSO PRESENT: Maria Franco, Administrative Assistant, EMS
Tabatha Butcher, Chief, EMS

1. Call to Order
Mr. McNally called the meeting to order at 9:30am. A quorum was established.
2. Agenda and Minutes
a. Approval of Today's Agenda
Ms. Vasey moved to approve the Agenda. Second by Mr. Fryer.
Carried unanimously 3 — 0.
b. Approval of Minutes
Mr. Fryer moved to approve the June loth Meeting Minutes. Second by Ms. Vasey.
Carried unanimously 3 — 0.
3. Old Business
• Performance Measures Update
• Stats were emailed to all prior to the meeting for review.
• Further update on Mike Regean meeting from Ned Fryer (If any)
• Next meeting on September.

• Election of Vice Chair
o Ms. Vasey nominated Mr. Fryer. Second by Mr. McNally. Carried unanimously 3-0

• Chief Butcher reported:
• Traveled to St. Pete to see how First Watch works
• Looking to better collaborate training with Fire
• July In-service complete
• Purchasing new H 13 5 Helicopter
• Working with Sheriff department on tracking over dose patients
• Presenting to Marco City Council on August 21 St_
• Construction of new station at Hacienda Lakes
• Working on AUIR
• Control West — City of Naples effective August 1 st
• Testing Deccan
