EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve Second Amendment to Short Term at Will Agreement between the
Community Redevelopment Agency Board (CRA) and T.T. of Naples Inc., to allow a car storage
business to relocate from one CRA owned property to a larger CRA owned property for a higher
rent.
OBJECTIVE: To allow a car storage business to relocate from one CRA owned property to a larger
CRA owned property for a higher rent.
CONSIDERATIONS: On March 14, 2017, Agenda Item, 16.B.1, Board of County Commissioners,
acting as the CRA Board, approved a Short Term At Will Agreement for Vehicle Storage to allow T.T. of
Naples, Inc. to use CRA owned property located at 1991 Tamiami Trail East for vehicle storage for
$2,500 a month.
On June 13, 2017, Agenda Item 16.B.1, First Amendment to Short Term at Will Agreement for Vehicle
Storage was approved to waive the CRA's security interest or lien rights in motor vehicles or other
personal property of T.T. of Naples, Inc.
T.T. of Naples, Inc. requested a larger space to use to store more vehicles. As such, the proposed Second
Amendment to Short Term at Will Agreement for Vehicle Storage changes the premises from CRA
property located at 1991 Tamiami Trail East to CRA owned property at 1936 Davis Boulevard and
increases the rent to $3,500 per month. The amendment is effective November 1, 2017, and will continue
on a month to month basis unless either party provides the other with 30 days written notice of
termination.
Accepting the aforementioned modifications set forth herein, all terms and conditions of the Lease remain
in full force and effect. This First and Second Amendment merge any prior written and oral
understanding and agreements, if any, between the parties with respect to the matters set forth herein.
FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment will have no fiscal impact.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is approved for form and legality and requires a
majority vote for Board approval.- JAB
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: The amendment will not impact the goals, objectives and
policies outlined in the Future Land Use Element - Bayshore Gateway Triangle Redevelopment Overlay.
RECOMMENDATION: That the CRA Board approve Second Amendment to Short Term at Will
Agreement for Vehicle Storage to change the premises to 1936 Davis Boulevard for vehicle storage with
an increase of rent to $3,500.
