EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to recognize and appropriate revenue to the Facilities Management Division cost
center in the amount of $105,041.04 for the period of June 2017 through August 2017 of Fiscal Year
2016-2017 and authorize the necessary Budget Amendment.
OBJECTIVE: To recognize and appropriate revenue to the Facilities Management Division cost center
in the amount of $105,041.04 for the period of June 2017 through August 2017 of Fiscal Year 2016 -2017
and authorize the necessary Budget Amendment.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Division of Facilities Management is responsible for the maintenance, repair,
capital replacement, and construction of county-owned buildings and facilities. When services fall outside
of the typical office building maintenance, they are considered special services. In such instances,
Facilities Management is reimbursed by other Divisions for special services.
FISCAL IMPACT: Budget amendments are necessary to recognize revenue and place the revenue in the
proper expense appropriation. Funds of $105,041.04 are being transferred from revenues to the security
services commitment item, for services provided to enterprise funded Departments.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed by the County Attorney, is approved as to
form and legality, and requires majority vote for approval. -JAK
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION: To authorize the necessary Budget Amendment to recognize and appropriate
revenues from special services to the Facilities Management Division cost center in the amount of
$105,041.04.
