Agenda 09/12/2017 Item #16J209/12/2017 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Recommendation to authorize execution of the budget amendment to increase current funding for the Collier County Sheriff’s Fund 608 (Sheriff’s Education Trust Fund) in the amount of $80,000. OBJECTIVE: To increase current budget in the amount of $80,000 for Fund 608 (Sheriff’s Education Trust Fund). CONSIDERATION: Collier County Sheriff’s Office needs an increase on the current budget for Fund 608 in order to cover education and travel expenses. FISCAL IMPACT: A budget amendment in the amount of $80,000 is needed from the Fund 608 reserves. GROWTH MANAGEMENT: None. LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners (1) authorize execution of the budget amendment from reserves for the Fund 608.
