Previous meeting's minutes were amended_
800 MHZ Trunked Radio System
Board of County Commissioners decided that the approach be serially rather than
concurrently and they are looking for consultant to determine whether administrative
system is one that should be expanded. With a deadline of September 30, 1994 to
maintain the current number of frequencies, a sense of urgency should e enlisted by the
BCC to decide a direction.
Emergency Medical Servic
Report has been finalized as to the response time discussion. Note it is the position of
EMS that if they had increased revenues, response time could be increased .
Community Development Service'
Continuing with subcommittee meetings and hoping to have a consolid ted draft the first
week of January.
Land Development Code amendments to date have been staff initiated.
Currently the tracking system for Project Plan Review is being done na nually and logged
in the Powerhouse computer software program.
Data Pxocessins/MIS
Include not only people from the constitutional offices and the county managers staff and
people from Productivity, but also some at large who have computer knowledge and use
this preexisting group to act as a review board for acquisitions of hardware and software.

Old Business
Sunshine Law does cover the CCPC and meetings should be advertised. Subcommittees
do not need to be announced publicly. Also, committee members may be required to fill
out a financial disclosure statement, awaiting an opinion from Commissioner Bettye
Matthews.
New Business
Robert Friedman resigned from the committee.
Discussion of changing the ordinance governing the CCPC with the crea
mtion of sub-
committees assigned to various areas which will be chaired by a nonvoting County

Executive summaries will be prepared and presented to the Board of County
Commissioners the third week of January.
