EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve the addition of three (3) classifications, the reclassification of five (5)
classifications, and the removal of one (1) classification in the 2017 Fiscal Year Pay & Classification
Plan made from April 1, 2017 through June 30, 2017.
OBJECTIVE: To ratify the addition of three (3) new classifications, the reclassification of five (5)
classifications, and removal of one (1) classification within the 2017 Fiscal Year Pay & Classification
Plan.
CONSIDERATIONS: Pursuant to Ordinance No. 13-40, the Board of County Commissioners has
authorized the County Manager to make additions, modifications and deletions to the annual Fiscal Year
Pay and Classification Plan, subject to retroactive ratification by the Board. This oc curs three times
during the fiscal year - in January, in April and in July.
The modification to the County’s 2017 Fiscal Year Pay & Classification Plan (Exhibit 1) consists of three
(3) new classification, five (5) reclassification's, and removal of one classification.
FISCAL IMPACT: This action will have no fiscal impact to the County.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this
Executive Summary.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is approved as to form and legality and requires majority vote
for approval. - CMG
RECOMMENDATION: To approve the addition of three (3) classifications, the reclassification of five
