This is in response to your recent request that Staff provide you
with a written recommendation indicating what information, at a
minimum should be submitted for conditional uses, preliminary plats
and so on. Attached for your review is a list of various items
related to conceptual water management review and detailed water
management review. We have marked the items that we feel are
necessary for submittal for our conceptual review and review by the
EAB. We request that you provide direction on whether or not you
want any of the other items included in the EAB Staff Reports and/or
review packages.

Conceptual Water Management Plan: signed & sealed by a
licensed P. E. , showing at a minimum:
YES 1. Location map showing County drainage basins and receiving
water (nearest main canal, creek, or river)
YES 2. Project boundary showing internal sub-basins
YES 3. Scale, North Arrow, Date, Title
YES 4. Topography, inflows, discharge point, W.S.W.T.
YES 5. Berm cross-sections
YES 6. Lake cross-section if different from U.L.D.C.
YES 7. Size and location of lakes, swales, and wet/dry
retention/detention areas

Inc.
COMMENTS: Staff was directed to prepare a revised Water
Management Plan Submittal Requirement "Check Off" List
for the next EAB meeting.

ITEM: Ongoing Environmental Monitoring Requirements
COMMENTS: Staff was directed to evaluate the wildlife monitoring
reports for Conditional Use Petition No. CU-92-26
(Everglades Private Airboat Tours) and to prepare a
report for EAB members to review.

Minimum Requirements
A. Conceptual Water Management Plan (any size up to 24"x36", but must
be legible)
1. Signed and sealed by Florida licensed P. E.
2 . Location map showing County drainage basin boundaries.
3 . Discharge point and description of downstream receiving
facilities to nearest main canal, creek, river, or bay.
(analysis and cross-section if required) .
4 . Existing ground elevation.
5. Offsite inflows and how they will be routed internally.
6. Water management berm cross-sections.
7 . Internal sub-basins.
8 . Scale, north arrow, date, title and project boundary.
9 . Lake cross-sections (if different from Collier County Land
Development Code.
10. Size and location of lakes, swales, and wet/dry
retention/detention areas.
11. Conservation areas.
12 . Miscellaneous pertinent data.
B. Detailed Water Management Calculations
1. Wet season water table, dry season water table, control
elevation, allowable discharge, inflows.
2 . Control elevation of nearest South Florida Water Management
District (SFWMD) permitted project to N, E, W, and S.
