Agenda 01/10/2017 Item #16K 2 16!K.2 01/10/2017 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Recommendation to reappoint three members to the Ochopee Fire Control District Advisory Committee. OBJECTIVE: To reappoint three members to the Ochopee Fire Control District Advisory Committee, to two-year terms expiring on December 31,2018. CONSIDERATIONS: This five member committee was created by Ordinance No. 89-98 to advise the Board of County Commissioners on the operations and budget of the Ochopee Fire Control District. Members must reside within the boundaries of the Ochopee Area Fire Control Special Taxing District. Terms are 2 years. A list of the current membership is included in the backup. Three seats on this committee expired on December 31, 2016, and one seat representing Everglades City is vacant.
