How has the organization enhanced the community through financial, volunteer and active a)
involvement in organizations and programs? (500 words or less):
Whole Foods Market Naples contributes in many ways to the local community. Some of our
community partners include The Conservancy of Southwest Florida, St. Matthew's House, Harry
Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida, Naples Cat Alliance, Human Trafficking Awareness Program c
and many others. Many of these organizations have benefited from our 5% Day and Donate Your o
Dime Programs. Whole Foods Market hosts a 5% day each quarter with a different non-profit a)
organizations in which the chosen organization receives 5% of a chosen day's net sales. We work
with 4 organizations a year with this program. Donate Your Dime happens when Whole Foods a
Market customers receive a 10 cent credit for bringing in their own bag, and they can decide to m
donate it to the specified non-profit organization. We work with 4 organizations a year with this C
program as well. In addition to raising money we also donate food and body care to St. Matthew's to
House on a weekly basis. Whole Foods Market Team Members have toured and volunteered at St. °0
Matthew's House to learn about everything that St. Matthew's House does for the community c
making this partnership well rounded. Some upcoming community events are a food drive for St. o
Matthew's House in November, and in January we will be attending the Harry Chapin Food Bank's U
Empty Bowls Event to assist in their fundraising efforts for the food bank. as
