A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING STEPHEN HRUBY
AND LITHA BERGER TO THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING ADVISORY
COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on July 31, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance
No. 91-65 establishing the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 91-65, as subsequently amended, on April 9, 2013 was
repealed and replaced by Ordinance No. 13-27, which recreated and reestablished the Affordable
Housing Advisory Committee in accordance with F.S. § 420.9076. This Advisory Committee
consists of eleven voting members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners based on
the membership categories described in F.S. § 420.9076(2)a.-k.; and
WHEREAS, there is currently one vacancy, and two seats expiring on October 1, 2016,
on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, staff has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its
recommendation for reappointment to this Advisory Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that STEPHEN HRUBY,
representing Residential Home Building Industry (420.9076(4)(a) F.S.), and LITHA BERGER,
representing Real Estate Professional (420.9076(4)(g) F.S.), are each hereby reappointed to their
respective seats on the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee to three-year terms expiring on
October 1, 2019.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote this 13`" day of September, 2016.
