EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve the administrative report prepared by the Procurement Services
Division for surplus property.
OBJECTIVE: To promote accountability and provide transparency to the public and gain the
Board’s approval/ratification for various p rocurement -related transactions.
CONSIDERATIONS: In accordance with the Board’s Procurement Ordinance 2013-69 as amended by
2015-37 and the Procurement Manual (Section 19 Procedures), the Procurement Services Division
produces a regular Administrative Report which provides for Board approval of surplus disposal and
revenue disbursement.
FISCAL IMPACT: No revenue was received for the disposal of surplus items.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management Impact associated with this
action.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is approved as to form and legality, and requires majority vote
for Board approval.-SRT
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners approves the surplus disposal and
revenue disbursement report as prepared by the Procurement Services Division.
