A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REPEALING AND SUPERSEDING
RESOLUTION NO. 2012-181 TO ESTABLISH A REVISED COLLIER COUNTY
PUBLIC LIBRARY FINE AND FEE SCHEDULE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 88-71 confirmed the creation of the Library
Advisory Board to act on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners (Board) in the establishment of
policies relating to the Collier County Library System; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 88-71, as subsequently amended, also provides that the Library
Advisory Board will advise the Board on all Library Department issues including fees, budgets, capital
planning, staffing levels, and other library related programs and shall furnish budget recommendations
for each forthcoming fiscal year for the operation of the County's library system; and
WHEREAS, Collier County Library fines and fees are currently enumerated in Resolution
2012-181 as approved by the Board on October 9, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the Library Advisory Board recommends that the Board revise its library fines and
fees schedule.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
1. The Collier County Public Library Fines and Fees Schedule is hereby approved and attached
to this Resolution as Exhibit"A".
2. This Resolution supersedes and repeals Resolution No. 2012-181 in its entirety.
3. The above-referenced Fines and Fees Schedule shall become effective on the day following
adoption of this Resolution.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote favoring same this
28th day of June, 2016.

1. Marco Island Rose Hall: Use of Rose Hall by non-profit organizations based on Marco Island is free of charge. The Marco Island Community raised
funds to build the facility.For-profit groups do pay the `Category II'fee listed.
2. South Regional `after hours use' must start before Library closes and can continue until 10 p.m. Fee is hourly fee charged by County Facilities
Management for Security Officer.After hours use applies only to the Meeting Rooms A and B. Security Guard will ensure building is locked after use.If
Guard is used primarily to lock facility and ensure participants have left it in good condition,fee will be charged for only 1 hour.
1. All rates are charged in one(1)hour increments.
2. Category I Organizations that are not tax-exempt are required to pay sales tax.
3. Category II Organizations are required to pay sales tax.
4. Verification of non-profit tax-exempt status will be required.
5. All libraries shall remain open to the public for normal library activities and hours when facilities are used by outside groups.
