Special Magistrate Garretson reported: • The Respondent's representative Attorney John White sumbitted a letter dated June 2, 2016, requesting the fines be waived. • He stated the Respondent is an overseas owner,the property is a residential rental and was unaware of the violation as it was not reported by the Management Company. • Once they were made aware of the violation they addressed it in a timely manner. Special Magistrate Garretson expressed concern the issue was first reported by the tenant in the Fall of 2015, and the owner became aware at the end of December, however the violation was not abated until May.
