EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Recommendation to approve conveyance of a Utility Facility Warranty Deed and Bill of Sale, and Utility Easement to the Collier County Water-Sewer District for water and wastewater infrastructure to service EMS Station#76,790 Logan Boulevard North,Naples Florida. OBJECTIVE: To convey certain water and wastewater infrastructure installed during the construction of EMS Station #76 from Collier County to the Collier County Water-Sewer District for continued ownership, operation and maintenance. CONSIDERATIONS: In order for the Collier County Water-Sewer District(CCWSD)to provide water and wastewater services to Collier EMS Station #76, it will be necessary to execute and record the attached conveyance documents. The Utility Facility Warranty Deed and Bill of Sale conveys the utility infrastructure installed within the right-of-way and the property, and the Utility Easement conveys the rights for the water lines within the County property. A location map is attached for reference. The attached Utility Facilities Warranty Deed and Bill of Sale and Utility Easement have been reviewed and approved by the County Attorney's Office,EMS and GMD. FISCAL IMPACT: Recording costs shall not exceed$50 and will be paid from Fund 490. The County will also be responsible for future related utility charges. GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no impact to the Collier County Growth Management Plan. LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item is approved for form and legality and requires a majority vote for approval. -JAB RECOMMENDATION: That the Board approves the conveyance of the water and wastewater utilities to CCWSD and authorizes the Chairman to execute the aforementioned documents; and also for the Board to direct the County Manager or his designee to proceed to follow all appropriate closing procedures and to record the aforementioned documents in the Public Records of Collier County,Florida.
