WHEREAS, at the December 11, 2012, meeting of the Board of County Commissioners the Board approved a Joint Participation Agreement (the "JPA") with the Florida Department of Transportation pertaining to funding the design and construction expenses for improvements to facilities on the State Highway System (SHS) related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) (Financial Project No. 432836-1-94-01) and authorized the Board of County Commissioners, through its Chairman, to enter into the JPA with the Florida Department of Transportation; and WHEREAS, on January 28, 2014, the Board approved a supplemental JPA (Financial Project No. 432836-1-94-01) to update the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise language in said agreement; and WHEREAS, on December 23, 2015, the Florida Department of Transportation provided a supplemental JPA to increase the grant award by $50,000 and local match by $12,500; and WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation requires the Board provide a resolution memorializing and confirming the Board's affirmative vote to approve the supplemental agreement and authorize the Chairman to execute the supplemental JPA; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that; CAS On , 2016, the Board of County Commissioners approved by majority vote the supplemental JPA (Financial Project No. 432836-1-94-01) and authorized its chairman, Donna Fiala, to enter into that agreement with FDOT.
