or federal regulations,you and any such contractor or subcontractor must notify FPL in writing of such planned operation prior to the commencement
thereof and make all necessary arrangements with FPI.in order to carry out the stork in a safe manner. Any st orb in the vicinity of the electric lines
should be suspended until these arrangements are finalized and implemented.,
1 h National Electrical Safely Code ("N ESC ') prescribes minimum clearances that must be maintained. If you build your structure so that those
clearances cannot IN maintained,yon may be required to compensate FPI_ for the relocation of our facilities to comply with those clearances. As such,
you should contact FPL prior to commencing construction near preexisting underground or overhead power lines to make sure the your proposed
improvement does not impinge upon the NLSC clearances.
It is your responsibility and the responsibility of your contractors and subcontractors on this project to diligently fulfill the following obligations:

Some documents are time sensitive and require forwarding to Tallahassee within a certain
time frame or the BCC's actions are nullified. Be aware of your deadlines!

Item 16D24 was approved on the Sept. 9, 2014 Agenda for approval of an FPL Underground
Easement regarding County-owned property at the Eagle Lakes Park, together with three
ancillary FPL agreements. Accordingly, attached please find the original Underground
Easement and FPL agreement documents.
Please attest to the Chairman's signature on all of the documents, and then please forward
the Underground Easement with the Recording Form provided to Recording. We have
requested that the original recorded document be returned to your office for safe keeping.
We would appreciate receiving a copy of the fully signed Underground Easement, together
with the three agreement documents, via email.

The undersigned. in consideration of the payment of $1 00 and other good and valuable
consideration; the adequacy and receipt of which is hereby acknowledged. grant and give to
Florida Power & Light Company, its licensees, agents, successors, and assigns ("FPL'). a non-
exclusive easement forever for the construction, operation and maintenance of underground
electric utility facilities (including cables, conduits, appurtenant equipment, and appurtenant above
ground equipment)to be installed from time to time; with the right to reconstruct, improve, add to.
enlarge; change the voltage, as well as, the size of and remove such facilities or any of them within
an easement described as follows.
See Exhibit"A"("Easement Area")
Together with the right to permit FPL to attach wires to any facilities hereunder and lay cable and
conduit within the easement and to operate the same for FPL's communications purposes, the
right of ingress and egress to the Easement Area at all times; the right to clear the land and keep it
cleared of all trees. undergrowth and other obstructions within the Easement Area; to trim and cut
and keep trimmed and cut all dead, weak. leaning or dangerous trees or limbs outside of the
easement area which might interfere with or fall upon the lines or systems of communications or
power transmission or distribution; and further grants, to the fullest extent the undersigned has the
power to grant, if at all. the rights hereinabove granted on the Easement Area heretofore
described, over, along, under and across the roads, streets or highways adjoining or through said
Easement Area.
