Resolution 2016-055 RESOLUTION NO. 2016 - 5 5 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING INITIAL MEMBERS TO THE COLLIER COUNTY PUBLIC TRANSIT ADVISORY COMMITTEE. WHEREAS, on March 22, 2016, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) adopted Ordinance No. 2016- 0 7 establishing the Collier County Public Transit Advisory Committee to assume the duties and responsibilities of the former Collier County Ad Hoc Public Transit Advisory Committee, which was established by Resolution No. 2013-50, as amended; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2016-0 7 sets forth the appointment process for the Public Transit Advisory Committee and the categories of representation required of its membership. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the following members are hereby appointed to the Collier County Public Transit Advisory Committee, with their terms set as follows: NAME CATEGORY TERM/EXPIRATION DATE Arthur E. Dobberstein Transportation/Planning 3 Years/March 22, 2019 Professional Dylan Michael Vogel Transit Rider 3 Years/March 22, 2019 John DiMarco, III Transit Rider 3 Years /March 22, 2019 Richard Duggan School District Representative 2 Years/March 22, 2018 Harold G. Weeks Transit Rider 2 Years/March 22, 2018 Christopher Gavrelis Large Employer Representative 1 Year/March 22, 2017 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Collier County residency requirements established for advisory board members pursuant to Ordinance No. 2001-55, as amended, are hereby waived for Christopher Gavrelis.
