A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING JACOB DAMOUNI TO THE
PELICAN BAY SERVICES DIVISION BOARD.

WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 2002-27, created y p
Service Taxing and Benefit Unit (Unit) and established the Pelican Bay Municipal Service Taxing and
Benefit Unit Advisory Committee (known as the Pelican Bay Services Division Board); and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2002-27, as amended, provides that the that the Pelican Bay
Services Division Board shall consist of nine members representing the residential interests within the
Unit and two members representing the commercial and business interests within the Unit; and
WHEREAS, there is one current vacancy on the Pelican Bay Services Division Board for a
member representing commercial and business interests; and
WHEREAS, one applicant has applied for the position and, pursuant to Section 122-1662(f) of
the Collier County Code of Laws and Ordinances, no balloting is required, but instead the nominee's
application shall be forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners to make the necessary
appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that JACOB DAMOUNI, representing
commercial and business interests, is hereby appointed to the Pelican Bay Services Division Board to
serve the remainder of a vacant term expiring on March 31, 2017.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote this 9th day of February, 2016.
