The purpose of this e-mail is to provide an update re to design considerations that were previously noted
below for the p . work within Hal. : Creek. Please note that no official documentation was located
concerning the waterway ownership or easement rights involving the Florida De•: of Transportation
(FDOT). Similarly,we have no records involving maintenance or any other work activities required to preserve
the overall function of this waterway. Consequently, e is no indication that FDOT has direct authority
relating to ating activities within Hal 's Creek.
I did receive a set of construction plans for the proposed work within and along Haldeman Creek. Based on my
review of the proposed work along with the know - of the existing approved environmental permits,it
• ; that hydraulic function of the waterway will be maintained for this portion of the waterway. I was not
originally aware of the pro -• dredging work associated with the boat slips to ma : at a minimum,the
cross-section conveyance area along this proposed development Therefore,the hydraulic capacity of this
waterway appears to be adequately addressed based on the channel improvements noted on the Cross Sections
Sheets in the plan set.
