RESOLUTION NO. 2015— 2 0 9
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING LITHA BERGER AND
TAYLOR MCLAUGHLIN, AND REAPPOINTING CHRISTIAN DAVIS,
TO THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on July 31, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance
No. 91-65 establishing the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 91-65, as subsequently amended, on April 9, 2013 was
repealed and replaced by Ordinance No. 13-27, which recreated and reestablished the Affordable
Housing Advisory Committee in accordance with F.S. § 420.9076. This Advisory Committee
consists of eleven voting members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners based on
the membership categories described in F.S. § 420.9076(2)a.-k.; and
WHEREAS, there are currently five vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, staff has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its
recommendations for appointment to this Advisory Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that LITHA BERGER, representing
Real Estate Professional (420.9076(4)(g) F.S.), is hereby appointed to the Affordable Housing
Advisory Committee to fulfill the remainder of a vacant term expiring on October 1, 2016; and
that TAYLOR MCLAUGHLIN, representing Banking or Mortgage Industry (420.9076(4)(b)
F.S.), is hereby appointed to the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee to fulfill the
remainder of a vacant term expiring on October 1, 2018; and that CHRISTIAN DAVIS,
representing Labor Engaged in Home Building (420.9076(4)(c) F.S.), is hereby reappointed to
the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee to a three-year term expiring on October 1, 2018.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote this 13th day of October, 2015.
