Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant for Fiscal Year 2016
To Purchase Bunker Gear
Chief Morris — We usually obtain foam through the Florida Fire Service Grants because it is a
very expensive item. This year the Florida Fire Service is offering to purchase bunker gear for
the Fire Departments through the Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant. During brush fires the Fire
Departments usually protect the structures. Ochopee Fire Control District is going to submit a
grant application to obtain bunker gear through the Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant for Fiscal
year 2016.
