APPROVAL OF AGENDA Add: XII, Meetings Mr. Forman moved to approve the Agenda as amended. Second by Mr. Weber. Carried; 3-0. IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES—MAY 7,2015 Change Motion: IX. Motion should read- Mr. Price moved to approve expenditures up to $800,000 for FPL Utility Converstion at Vanderbilt Beach Road. Second by Mr. Forman. XI. should read—Mr. Forman moved to adjourn meeting. Mr. Weber moved to approve the Minutes of the May 7, 2015, meeting as amended. Second by Mr. Forman. Carried; 3-0. V. LANDSCAPE REPORT Gary Gorden reported crews have been trimming. Plant materials have Torpedo grass growing in thought it. It has been treated with herbicides. Mr. Weber noticed all the hedges were not down to 5'yet. Harry Sells reported the County has not been pushed for the 5' hedge. Letters on General Maintenance Rules have not gone out yet. A large amount of landscaping will be removed during construction and it was felt that after construction was complete would be a better time to change the rules and inform everyone. VI. CONSTRUCTION REPORT Ray Benza gave a brief update on the project. 6" conduit has been installed from 400' south of Vanderbilt Beach Drive down to the corner of Gulf Shore Drive. They plan to bore on South Bay Drive. July 4th the County will need Conner Park parking lot cleared for the use by the public during the holiday weekend. The County modified the sub aqueous crossing permit and it has been approved by DEP, waiting for Army Corps of Engineers to give final approval for the permit. VII, PROJECT MANAGER'S REPORT A. BUDGET REPORT FOR 6/4/15 Staff distributed and reviewed the Vanderbilt MSTU budget report on Fund 143. (See attached) B. GENERAL STATUS OF BURIAL PROJECT Harry Sells and Ray Benza met with Purchasing Department and MasTec concerning the quality of work on Phase I and not wanting to destroy land. He stated there is a big difference in quality between Danella and Mastec. The network companies went out to bid; Comcast, Century Link and Summit. Phase IV will begin one year and will go all the way to Wiggins Pass. Wiggins Pass will be closed to construct bridge in early 2016. FPL has not designed Phase IV yet. C. NEW REQUIREMENTS FOR EASEMENTS Harry Sells reported FPL does not have easements at six locations. Tariff states FPL will identify all required easements for this project before the underground service agreement is signed. FPL did not do this and has agreed to obtain the easements.. VIII. OLD BUSINESS A. GENERAL RULES FOR MAINTAINING LANDSCAPE ON VANDERBILT DRIVE Harry Sells suggested this item be tabled. IX. NEW BUSINESS Discussion was made on next meeting date and a possible Comcast meeting. With one vacancy on the Committee, it would be hard to establish a quorum. Mr. Weber received names of possible candidates. A consensus was form to recess until Monday, October 5, 2015\at 10:00/A.M. Harry Sells will provide updates through summer months. X.
