Petition Summary: Stantec, a consulting film, has sent a letter to a small portion of residents of Napa Woods Way, which informs the reader of a proposed development of a 400 seat church to be built on vacant residential land known as 6081 Napa Woods Way, Naples, FL. Attached is a copy of this letter. Any non-residential use of these lands will affect local residents by increasing the traffic to an al- ready compromised street; there is an existing church, Universal Unitarian Church, which during worship days the traffic is markedly increased and residential houses in route to the road are compromised. Furthermore, during emergency situations on Pine Ridge Rd., Napa Woods Way is often used for eastbound traffic to detour, which compromises the entire street without the ex- tra traffic that this church will cause. Height Limitation-we are currently at 35', the same as the Estates Zoning 2. Hours of Operation - 6:30am to 10pm daily would allow for all existing operations to continue. Exceptions may be made for high holidays such as Christmas and Easter, up to 3 times per year, but all services must be held indoors. 3. No school or day care operations will be allowed. 4. No playgrounds or outside recreational equipment will be permitted. 5. Exits to the rear of the building will be limited to those required by fire code. The primary entrance will be on the North face of the building and all doors and windows will be closed during services and periods when performances or music practice is occurring. 6. The building will be setback a minimum of 90 feet from Napa Woods Way and 75' from the east property line. All other setbacks will meet minimum standards for Estates zoning. 7. The south and east exterior walls will be constructed with sound dampening applications to reduce through wall penetration of noise. 8. Lighting will be limited to 25' in height and will utilize flat panel fixtures and cut off shields to ensure light spill does not negatively impact neighbors. Lighting located to the south and east of the building will be limited to security lighting and will be aimed downward (no wall pack lighting). 9. If the Preserve is located off-site, the rear buffer will be increased to 25 feet in width and the number of trees will be doubled and planted in a staggered row to create 80% opacity at 12 feet in height within one year of planting. 10.The facilities will only be utilized by one church.
