This site is considered to be of historic nature to the residents of Immokalee. This site is currently not maintained by the Immokalee Community. Murdo Smith BACKGROUND: The Golden Gate Estates Advisory Board, Collier County Real Property Department, County Parks & Recreation Department and citizens from the Golden Gate Estates area have been investigating the possibility of constructing of a neighborhood and community park for the Estates area. The BCC has approved researching what facilities could be build on a parcel of land totaling 13 acres located near Wilson Boulevard and.Golden Gate Boulevard. The Estates Advisory Board will purchase the land for this facility.
