Meeting was called to order at 3:00 p.m.
There was no pledge of allegiance. No flag present. Roll call taken by
Retiring Chairman Russ Rainey.
The previous minutes of January 21, 2015 were approved.
Threat Update
Lt. Mike Jones reported that there is no change in the threat level.
Old Business
Nominations for the new Board were made and seconded.
Chairman, Walt Jaskiewicz
Vice Chairman, Lee Henderson was elected in absentia.

New Business
EM Dept Update: Mike Shaw reports that Ms. Taylor Davis has been
hired and will work with Mike in the EOC.
LMS: Rick Zvoloski is awaiting the City and School Board reports
before applying for grants. The next LMS meeting is April 17th in the
Libruary. Weather report. A below number of Hurricanes and storms
are predicted for this season. Wilma was the last hurricane to affect
us in 2005. The wildfire season has begun. Getting warmer earlier
then in the past.
CERT: Russ Rainey reports that a joint disaster drill made up of 5 Cert
teams from the county will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2015 in
North Naples. In addition, a demonstration using rescue dogs will take
place.

Coast Guard: Walt will be an evaluator at the upcoming Cert drill.
Walt thanked Russ Rainey for all of his work as Chairman of the
Citizen Corp over the years.
Sheriff: Mike Jones is retiring and this is last Citizen Corp meeting. The
sheriff will appoint a replacement soon.
Chief's Association: Jerry Sanford reported on the very successful fund
raising event on February 20th, 2105 for the Freedom Memorial.
Salvation Army: Julian Morgan reports that they will be providing the
meals for the upcoming Haz Mat drill on March 26th, 2015. They are
hoping to acquire a new canteen.
MRC: Dr. Neiween reports that this has been a very mild flu season so
far, all quiet. A new bird flu #H793 has been reported that can be
passed from birds to humans. Not enough has been learned at this
point.
The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 27th at 3:00 p.m.
Meeting was adjourned at 3:30 p.m.
