CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 2:02 PM by Chairman Tony Branco. A quorum was established. Five (5)voting members were present. II. Additional Lighting Recommendations Kathleen Dammert moved to approve the Agenda as amended. Second by Linda Jorgensen. Motion carried; 5-0. IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES-FEBRUARY 26,2015 Kathleen Dammert moved to approve the minutes of the February 26, 2015 meeting as presented. Second by Robert Slebodnik. Motion carried; 5-0. V. CHAIRMAN'S REPORT Chairman Tony Branco reported in general the Lely MSTU area looked good. VI. BUDGET REPORT Darryl Richard distributed and reviewed the Lely MSTU Fund 152 Report dated March 26, 2015 and the Proposed Draft Budget FY16. (See attached) A. System Update Staff reported items needed to update irrigation system; radio and controller related items Pam Lulich, Growth Managements provided an estimate in the amount of$2,858. March 26,2015 Michelle Arnold explained the upgrade process for the irrigation system. It was noted the Lely MSTU has 3 controllers to upgrade. Jennifer Tanner moved to add $12,000 to the budget for year 2016 for sprinkler addition. Second by Vice Chair Robert Slebodnik. Motion carried; 5-0. Jennifer Tanner moved to accept Draft Proposed Budget FY16 with sprinkler addition. Second by Kathleen Dammert. Motion carried; 5-0. VII. LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT'S REPORT—MCGEE&ASSOCIATES A. RECOMMENDATION FOR REPLACEMENT ANNUALS AT FRONT ENTRANCE Mike McGee distributed and reviewed the Lely Golf Estates Beautification MSTU District Roadways dated March 23, 2015. (See attached) He gave 3 option recommendations for annual plantings. Discussion was made on the options. Kathleen Dammert moved to remove existing plants and replace with lavender Sunpatients on Median 1. Second by Vice Chair Robert Slebodnik. Motion carried; 5-0. Chairman Tony Branco reported the light bulb by canal was not working. Staff will notify FPL. Linda Jorgensen voiced concern on the appearance of the Crown of Thorns on Medians. Mike McGee noted the plants will need to be kept below 18 inches. He will provide options and CLM will provide costs for the options at next meeting. He reviewed the water usage report. B. ADDITIONAL LIGHTING RECOMMENDATION Item removed from Agenda. VIII. LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE REPORT—CLM Robert Kindelan gave a brief update. IX. PROJECT MANAGER'S REPORT Darryl Richard stated items were previously addressed. A. MONTHLY CHECKLIST ON DECORATIVE LIGHT INSPECTIONS Staff provided the Lely MSTU Lighting Inspection Report dated March 24, 2015. (See attached) He addressed questions posed. X. OLD BUSINESS—None XI. NEW BUSINESS A. BENCH ISSUE AT FRONT ENTRANCE Chairman Tony Branco reported the bench, on the outgoing side on St.Andrews, legs are no longer attached to the bench and some type of equipment may have been the cause. Mike McGee will research the purchase of parts for bench since the seat is intact. It was suggested a claim be filed with the County insurance. XII. MEMBER COMMENTS 2 March 26,2015 Advisory Board Members expressed appreciation to Darryl Richard for an outstanding job and the exceptional service over all the years. The MSTU presented Darryl Richard with an engraved plaque with sincere appreciation. XIII.
