REPEALING CHAPTER 61-2037, LAWS OF FLORIDA,
RELATING TO COLLIER COUNTY, PROVIDING FOR THE
CREATION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF WATER CONSERVATION
DISTRICT.

• WHEREAS, Chapter 61-2037, Laws of Florida, relating to
, . Collier County, which authorizes the creation and establishment of

4 water conservation districts in Collier County, provides a method
whereby such creation and establishment may be effected, provides
that the Board of County Commissioners may be the governing body
k@` of such districts, provides for the powers and jurisdiction of
i such districts, authorizes such districts to construct or acquire H
`"; water conservation or drainage facilities, reservoirs, dams,
levees, and other works, structures or facilities, including
sluiceways, holding basins, floodways, pumping stations and all

I 1) The proposed Special Act which repeals Chapter 61-2037,
J " Laws of Florida, attached hereto as Exhibit "A". is hereby
approved.
2) The Staff is hereby directed to send the attached

proposed Special Act to the Legislative Delegation for
consideration during the 1994 Legislative Session.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority
vote.

22 Section 3. Chapter 61-2037, Special Act, Laws of Florida, is
23 hereby repealed in its entirety.
24 Section 4. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
