January 23, 2015
Dear Interested Parties,
On January 15, 2015, several fire service representatives and interested members of the
community met to discuss the need for a committee or task force to explore further fire service
consolidation opportunities in Collier County. It was decided that it would be beneficial to meet
monthly for this purpose. The Greater Naples Fire Rescue District has agreed to host these
meetings every third Thursday of the month for at least the first 6 months and has advertised as
such.
Please consider joining us for the next Fire Service Consolidation meeting scheduled for
Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 9:00 am at the Greater Naples Fire Rescue District
Administrative Headquarters- 14575 Collier Blvd. Naples, FL 34119. This is a public meeting
so feel free to extend an invite to all who may be interested in participating in this meeting in
effort to offer more effective and efficient fire service to the residents of Collier County.
Sincerely,
Steve Wemtiu.499
