Highland Elementary School Field Trip to Immokalee Airport -November 9, 2012 From 9:00 -11:00 -Airport has hosted the event since 2005 -Goal is to enhance the event every year and to create a County wide aviation day with all Airports -Estimated 120 Students visiting to learn about Aviation -Confirmed 10 Aircraft, Casino Balloon and Equipment, and Vehicles Aviation Support Equipment. -Collier County Schools education channel, Naples Daily News and NBC-2 may cover the event. Advisory Board Recommendation Remaining Term Until August 31, 2013 -Magda Ayala -Marvin Courtright Recommendation that the BCC Approve Contract with Hole Montes Inc. -Marco Island Airport Runway 17/35 Rehabilitation -$660,000 for Design Related Services -Contractor selected through RFP County Process Recommendation that the BCC Approve Contract with Hole Montes Inc. -Immokalee Airport Runway 9/27 Rehabilitation -$761,000 for Design Related Services -Contractor selected through RFP County Process Recommendation that the BCC Establish a Commencement Date for Salazar Machine and Steel -Building shell was completed in 2011 -Lease approved by BCC prior to RFP for Interior Modifications -Estimated Completion Date; December 17, 2012 -Provides Executive Director discretion to adjust the date as necessary. Recommendation that the BCC Amend the Lease Expiration Date for Turbo Services -Current Lease was approved March 2011 -Lease payments were effective April 2011 -Certificate of Occupancy (CO): July 13, 2012 -Amend the Lease to coincide for a total of 10 years from CO date PUBLIC COMMENTS
