I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 2:04 PM by Chairman Slebodnik.
A quorum was established. Three voting members were present.

Jennifer Tanner moved to approve the Agenda as amended. Second by Kathleen
Dammert. Motion carried unanimously, 3—0.
IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES—APRIL 24,2014
Kathleen Dammert moved to approve the minutes of the April 24, 2014 meeting as
presented. Second by Jennifer Tanner. Motion carried unanimously, 3—0.
V. CHAIRMAN'S REPORT—ROBERT SLEBODNIK
A. ACCIDENT-PLANT DAMAGE AT ST.ANDREWS BOULEVARD
Chairman Slebodnik reported an accident on St. Andrews Boulevard that caused
damage at the median where the bench is, near the shopping center. The driver jumped

the curb and hit straight into vegetation; 2 Alexandra Palms and some Bougainvillea
plants were damaged. He called the police to see if an accident report was made. The
Police Department stated it was too early to tell if an accident report was filed. The
Police Department will call Robert Slebodnik when they receive a report. He has not
received a call as of May 22, 2014.
B. VAGRANTS OCCUPYING BUS STOP SHELTER
Chairman Slebodnik reported vagrants had been occupying the bus stop shelter near
the library for the last three (3) weeks. Both man and a woman with their belongings in
carts but he never saw both vagrants at the same time. He called the East Naples Police
Department and filed a report. Vagrants have not been seen at that location since the
report was filed.
VI. BUDGET REPORT—DARRYL RICHARD
Darryl Richard distributed and reviewed the Lely MSTU Fund 152 Report dated May 22, 2014.
(See attached)
• Current Ad Valorem - Collected $180,628.94
• Operating Expenses—Spent to date $92,598.34
• Capital Improvements—Available $45,500.00
• Reserves—Available $100,000.00
• Total Budget—Available $175,538.09
He reported the certified taxable values are expected to be available mid to late June 2014.
Property values are estimated to reflect a 4.5% increase.
VII. LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE REPORT-CLM
A. CLM (Commercial Land Maintenance)—Robert Kindelan
• Cleaned up after accident on Median#3 and submited proposal for replacement of
damaged plants and palm trees.
• Fertilizer ordered over a month ago; we are behind schedule.
• Planned try different chemicals on Plumbago,
• Tested chemicals on Goodlette Road. If it works, it will be used to combat
caterpillars on Bougainvillea.
• Three (3) decorative lights are out at the entrance. One florescent on sign is out, 1
inbound and 2 outbound.
VIII. LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT'S REPORT—MCGEE &ASSOCIATES
Mike McGee distributed and reviewed the Lely Golf Estates Beautification MSTU—
Landscape Observation Report dated May- June 2014. (See attached)
• Filed an accident report on Median#3.
• Annuals are full of weeds. He recommended removing Geraniums and provided a list
of suggested replacements to the Advisory Committee. (See attached)

Discussion was made on replacement plants and it was decided CLM will provide a quote on
two (2) selected plants; Catharanthus roseus-Cora Apricot and roseus-Cora Burgundy. Both
plant selections will be mixed in the same flower bed.
The Doral PUD Project needs clean up and pavers need to be pressure washed.
Mike McGee stated one tree had to be replaced.
Darryl Richard recommended a field meeting with Public Utilities and get a punch list.
IX. PROJECT MANAGER'S REPORT
A. Landscape Restoration—Treasure Point
Staff distributed and reviewed an estimate from Florida Land Maintenance, Inc. dba
Commercial Land Maintenance (CLM) for the landscape restoration at Treasure Point
Cul-de-sac in Lely Golf Estates as designed by McGee &Associates dated May 19, 2014,
in the amount of$3,265. (See attached)
Darryl Richard distributed and reviewed the Lely MSTU Maintenance Cost Analysis—
Mid FY-14. It was noted the sixth column should read"Est. FY-14 End."
He also distributed and reviewed the Lely MSTU Maintenance Cost Review. (See
attached)
Chairman Slebodnik tabled the St. Andrew's accident restoration and research if an
accident report and insurance are in place. He recommended doing work on Treasure
Point and place repair work on hold; unless an accident report is confirmed.
Chairman Slebodnik moved to proceed with Treasure Point Project and place the
project on St.Andrews Boulevard that requires repair work from automobile accident
on put hold and reassess the situation once the accident report is filed. Second by
Kathleen Dammert. Motion carried unanimously;3—0.
Mike McGee asked when the MSTU would add Treasure Point into the maintenance
program.
Darryl Richard responded"after we officially modified the contract." He agreed on
waiting until we get consistent rains (late June or July) and then do the planting and Staff
should get support from the Treasure Point Association on project.
B. By Laws
C. Staff provided a"Draft"By Laws for the Lely Golf Estates Beautification MSTU
Advisory Committee. The document would be used as a guideline consistent with all
MSTUs.
Darryl Richard recommended the Committee table the item to enable them time review
before approving the"Draft" By Laws.
Kathleen Dammert moved to table the created By Laws for the Lely Golf Estates
Beautification MSTU Advisory Committee to allow the Committee members to review,

to discuss and vote on at next meeting. Second by Jennifer Tanner. Motion carried
unanimously;3—0.
D. Maintenance Cost Report—Addressed previously
X. OLD BUSINESS
A. Dave Larson—Memorial
Jennifer Tanner reported Dave Larson's widow is out of town. She noted the memorial
will need to wait for area to be cleaned up.
Jennifer Tanner moved to table item until next meeting. Second by Chairman
Slebodnik. Motion carried unanimously;3—0.
