NEW BUSINESS: There was a bit of a location issue with this meeting. The room was reserved for the G.G. Estates Library, but it was obvious that the room was to small. Just prior to the meeting, a deeision was made to relocate to the adjaeent G.G. Fire Station which had a larger meeting room. The meeting of the G.A.C. Land Trust Committee, which was seheduled for the G.G. Fire Station meeting room, was moved to the G.G. Estates Library and a notification posted on the door of the G.G. Estates Fire Station. The meeting was attended by thirty-nine (39) local residents from the Golden Gate Estates and North Belle Meade areas. Name and address information was collected on a "sign-in" sheet. Mike DeRuntz opened the meeting with a brief welcoming statement, went through the introductions, and stated the purpose for the meeting. Robert Wiley followed with a brief overview of the Floodplain Management Plan and the Community Rating System. Mike DeRuntz then explained the proeess of gathering public input and how the meeting would be conducted. A map and questionnaire forms were available at each table, and for the next thirty (30) minutes the residents began noting areas of flooding they had personally observed. COMMITTEE members were available in the room to answer questions of the residents while they were marking the map and filling in the questionnaires. When it appeared that everyone was done, each person was asked to callout the types of flooding observed with the following results: 16/ IBtftr Page 2 of3 Table A o Road flooding at Everglades Blvd./14th Ave. S.E.
