MINUTES
I. CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Robert Jones at 10:00 AM.
A quorum was established; four voting members were present.

M. APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
George Fogg moved to approve the Agenda as submitted. Second by Kevin Mc%yton.
Carried unanimously, 4 — 0.
IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES — May 7,2013:
Kevin McKyton moved to approve the Minutes of the May 7, 2013 meeting as
presented. Second by Kevin McKyton.
Motion carried, 4 - 0.

Darryl Richard reminded the Committee that the Property Appraiser's Office will release
the updated property values in June for Fiscal Year 2014 should be available for the next
meeting.
VI. PROJECT MANAGER'S REPORT
A. ITB (Invitation to Bid): Revised contract/ Bid results
Darryl Richard reported the bid documents were under review by ROW
Permit Plans. He noted Staff posted documents on the website.
B. Emerald Green — Conduit Repair
Darryl Richard noted the electrician will work on Emerald Green conduit
repair weather permits.
Staff is reviewing the bid documents for the maintenance contract.
It was noted there was an issue with trees being pushed down and trees being
pushed back up.
Staff reported a "Resident" letter which included a recommendation for
residents to maintain the grass strip between their property and the street has
been sent out to residents.
Discussion was made on Forest Lakes ROW and why it was not "officially"
accepted by the BCC is then not maintained by County. Staff will research
about the single family homes and when the homes were platted. Some streets
in Forest Lakes are private.
George Fogg asked Staff to give an update on how to resolve this issue and
what property the MSTU is responsible for at the next meeting.
Discussion was made weed maintenance on the different grasses within the
MSTU.
Kevin McKyton moved to direct Staff to maintain different grasses within the
MSTU as follows; irrigate and herbicide St. Augustine grass, mow and edge
Bahia grass and keep Foratram weed free.
Second by George Fogg.
Motion carried, 4 -0.

George Fogg moved the MSTU will consider landscaping Woodshire as funds
become available.
Second by Kevin McKyton.
Motion carried, 4 -0.
This grass strip not irrigated. MSTU maintains the edging and mowing for this area.
VII. LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT'S REPORT — SCOTT WINDHAM, WSI
(Report attached: "Status Report, dated June 4, 2013 ")
• WSI submitted the Combined Phase 2 and Phase 3, Value Engineered 100% bid
document package to the County.
• Plans are currently being reviewed by ROW and Traffic Operations prior to going out to
bid.
• County Staff is revising the Combined Phase 1, 2 and 3 maintenance bid documents per
Advisory Committee direction.
VIII. OLD BUSINESS

IX. NEW BUSINESS
Kevin McKyton noted a safety hazard at an opened drainage box near the entry. It was
suggested a grate be installed to cover opening and keep small animals and children from
falling in.
Staff will direct Maintenance to cover opening.

Status Report
The following is a brief status report for the Forest Lakes Sidewalk, Lighting and Street
Tree Improvement projects:
FOREST LAKES PROJECT F -58 UPDATES:
PHASE 2and 3 Combined:
• WSI submitted the Combined Ph 2 and Ph 3 VE 100% bid documents package
to county staff last month for final preparation to go to bid. The plans are
currently being reviewed by right of way and traffic operations prior to going out
to bid.
MAINTENANCE SPECIFICATIONS / MANAGEMENT PLAN:
• County staff is revising the combined Ph 1, 2 and 3 maintenance bid documents
as per George Fogg's input in preparation to go to bid.
