Minutes
I. Call Meeting to Order
The meeting was called to order by* Bob Slebodnik at 2:00 p.m.
II. Attendance:

III. Approval of Agenda

Kathleen Dammert moved to approve the November 15, 2012 agenda as
amended. Second by Jennifer Tanner. Motion carried unanimously 4-0.
IV. Approval of Minutes: October 18, 2012
Change: Vl. Last paragraph, 9st sentence should read "3 remaining light
bases are not installed by.,Doral bridge"
Jennifer Tanner moved to approve the October 18, 2012 minutes as
amended. Second by Dave Larson, Motion carried unanimously 4-0.
V. Budget Report
Darryl Richard reported the County Budget Department implemented a new
invoice software system. Staff distributed and reviewed the Budget Report for
Fund 152 dated November 15, 2012 prepared by Caroline Soto. (See attached)
o Ad Valorem Tax Available - $184,681.11
o Operating Expense Available - $55,351.80
o Improvements General Expenditures - $72,400.00
o Total Budget Available - $414,966.22
o Open Purchase Orders - $80,164.70
o Paid Purchase Orders - $91,917.76
VI. Landscape - Maintenance Report
Mike McGee distributed and reviewed the Landscape Observation Report dated
November 11, 2012. (See attached)

He reported currently there are no real big problems. Landscape contractor is
working on punch list. The biggest issues are dry turf and Plumbago due to
lighting struck the 2- controller boards. The pump station was down for a week
plus. Naples Motor Works reviewed pump station and reset the VFD controller.
Parts have been ordered from a source in California. Until the system is back up
and running the landscape contractor is manually turning valve on and off.
Staff will check on status of order.
■ Pebble Beach Boulevard Golf Cart Crossing — Eucalyptus tree branches
have broken off and as been cut back.
Commercial Land is trimming palms, medians, cul-de -sacs and Sabal
palms.
• Alexander Palms have been sprayed with white fly treatment that lasts for
8 -12 months.
• South side of Baltusrol — sprinkler is not projecting over the Jasmine to
water the Plumbago tree.
Robert Slebodnik stated the west side of Median 14, near the tip appeared
barren and questioned if small Bougainvillea would be used to fill in.
Mike McGee will review.
Mike McGee distributed and reviewed a chart on Lely Golf Estates
Beautification MSTU Reuse Mixing Chamber Annual Water Use for October
2092 Report with Month to Date Averages. (See attached)
Robert Slebodnik reported trying to contact John Vliet, Director of Road and
Bridge regarding the vegetation in the canals. He spoke to Travis Gossard,
Maintenance Supervisor for Road and Bridge while John Vliet was on vacation.
He was informed:
The areas by the Lely Presbyterian Church and the Golf course
canal were sprayed on October 1 9th
The County has a new vendor for aquatic weed control.
• The County purchases a slow acting with very effective chemicals
and the vendor applies it.
• The area was treated again on November 15t.
• John Vliet returned Robert Slebodnik call on October 29th.
• As of November 13th the weed kill is noticeable and will be sprayed
again the following week.

B. Review of the To Do List
Staff distributed the "To Do List." (See attached)
■ 2 — Painting of U Channel Metal waiting for cool season without rain.

■ 3 -- Coordinate with Stormwater on spraying of exotic vegetation in
canals — Canal has been treated 3 times.
■ Mowing of area near Forest Hills at Augusta Boulevard is completed.
■ Coordinate with FPL on repair of 2 lights on pole #7 and #15 has been
reported to FPL.
B. Project Managers Report
Darryl Richard distributed and reviewed the Lely MSTU Project Status
Report updated November 15, 2012. (See attached)
• L -50 St. Andrews Front Entrance Project — Scope of project is under
review.
• (L-48) Pebble Beach Lighting Project -- Staff is working with
Purchasing to get contract issued to Bentley Electric within the next 30
days. Bentley Electric is scheduled to commence project after January
1st with completion within 140 days.
Staff distributed and reviewed a proposal from Whited Holiday Decor for Lely
Golf Estates Christmas Lighting and Decor. The company will honor the 2011
quote for $1,330.
Jennifer Tanner moved to accept the proposal from Whited Holiday
Decor for Holiday Decorations for $1,330. Second by !Cathleen
Dammert. Motion carried unanimously.
IX. Future Projects
A. Entrance — US 41 @ St. Andrews Discussion
Mike McGee was given contact information for Randy Camp to discuss
dropping the overhead electric and control light to determine feasibility.
He called but it happened to be during the Storm Sandy. He has left a couple
of messages. He will call again.
Staff stated an FDOT permit will be required. Traffic Ops will need to
approve project.

Motion carried unanimously, 4-0.
