Resolution 2013-160 RESOLUTION NO. 2013 - 160
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING ANDREW DICKMAN TO
THE ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISORY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, on May 26, 2009, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) adopted
Ordinance No. 2009-32, which relocated and readopted the Environmental Advisory Council
Ordinance in its entirety as a stand-alone ordinance in the Collier County Code of Laws and
Ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the Environmental Advisory Council was established to advise the Board in
matters dealing with the regulation, control, management, use, or exploitation of any or all
natural resources of or within the County and to review and evaluate specific zoning and
development petitions and their impact on those resources; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2009-32, as subsequently amended, provides that the Advisory
Council shall consist of five regular members and one alternate member who possess either the
technical expertise or viewpoints that are necessary to effectively accomplish its purpose; and
WHEREAS, on July 28, 2013, there will be a vacancy on this Advisory Council for a
regular(technical) member; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that ANDREW DICKMAN is
hereby reappointed to the Environmental Advisory Council as a regular member (technical), for
a four-year term, said term to expire on July 28, 2017.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 9th
day ofluly, 2013.
