It also defines Motor Vehicle for hire as"any motorized, self-propelled vehicle engaged in the transportation of persons upon the streets . . . with the intent to receive compensation for providing such transportation . . ." and includes charter service vehicles. 142-28 lists categories of exemptions from the VFH Ordinance, and (b) is the only one that could remotely apply to DOT-registered vehicles. I have attached photos of the 2 stretch limousines involved, a Hummer and a Cadillac Escalade.
